Shakespeare at NCIC

The English Department at North Coast Integrated College hosted an exhibition about Shakespeare, which had been generously on loan from the British Council and Queens University. The Students had the wonderful opportunity to view this exhibition in their English classes.

Charitable Deeds at NCIC

Seana O’Neill, representative for the charity Children in Crossfire, visited the College on Monday 22nd January to receive a donation. Pupils raised £303 for the charity from a recent non-uniform day. Holly and Tiernagh presented Seana with the cheque at morning assembly.

Robotics at North Coast Integrated College

On Tuesday 223rd January, Joanne Sweeney from Sentinus spent the day at the College to deliver a robotics workshop to year 8 students. Joanne is picture here with year 8 pupils, Reagan, Demi, Rihanna and Daniel.

Impressive Attendance Prize for Year 8 Pupil

Year 8 North Coast Integrated College student Calvin, was the lucky winner of an iPad at the College at the beginning of this term. Along with many of his peers from across all year groups, he was entered into a draw for those who have 100% attendance. There will be another such draw in the spring term. North Coast Integrated College – the Ideal Choice

On Monday 8th January, North Coast Integrated College hosted a very successful Open Night with a large turnout of prospective pupils and their parents in attendance. Visitors were given the opportunity to view the facilities, hear about the exciting new developments at the College, and to meet teachers, support staff and pupils. They also witnessed and participated in an array of demonstrations and workshops which were used to showcase the vast selection of subjects on offer. Trip to the Ulster Museum

Some year 10 pupils visited the Ulster Museum on Thursday 11th January where they participated in a World War 1 Poetry and Drama workshop. During this event, pupils had the opportunity to come into contact with artefacts from World War 1 and learn about them in detail. In groups, they too created recruitment posters and freeze frames.
