Please note the ipay online payment app has not yet launched- (this app will allow parents to add money automatically online into their child’s individual meal account) we will notify you as soon as this becomes available.
In the meantime, pupils can top up their meal account via the revaluation unit in school.
As tomorrow is the first day going live, the revaluation unit will be supervised and each class in turn will be called to be shown how to add their money. This money can be used at break and lunch time.
What do I do if I haven’t signed and returned the biometrics opt-in form?
Please sign and return a form for every child to the college office asap to enable them to access their meal account via fingerprint.
Why do you need a finger print?
This is the fastest and most secure way of your child accessing their meal account. The fingerprint will not be used for any other purpose.
What if I don’t give permission for my child to have their fingerprint taken?
All pupils will be allocated with a 6 digit pin number to use alternatively.
However, the college will not be responsible for any misuse of pin numbers. It is the responsibility of each pupil to keep their pin number safe and not to disclose it.
What happens if my child doesn’t know their pin number?
The pupil will need to contact the office.
What do I do if my child is entitled to free school meals?
The current rate of £2.80 per day will be automatically available. If you wish to add additional funds- this can be done using the revaluation unit.
How much does the machine accept?
Any amount can be added in advance but no change will be given. The smallest coin acceptable is 10p.
As this is a new system there will be a settling in period and we will try our best to work through any issues as they arise. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
The link below is a video clip to show how the system works efficiently.
