Dear Parent/ Guardian,
This term has been busy- pupils and staff are looking to the end of term to have a well-deserved break. It has been great to see the return to face to face teaching and extra-curricular activities. I would like to acknowledge how wonderful our pupils have been. They have been resilient and thoughtful; really showing consideration for everyone in the school community following the continued guidelines that we have in place.
However, news that the coronavirus alert level has been increased from level three to four means transmission of cases is high or rising exponentially.
With this information the board of governors feel it would be wise for school to finish on Friday 17th December.
This is a change to the school calendar, and it may have to change again I will always try to give you as much notice as possible. We plan to return on Tuesday 4th January.
The traditional open night will probably not be taking place this year; however, we are able to show anyone around the school for a tour- if you know anybody who would be interested please tell them to contact the school office.
I hope you and yours keep safe over the holidays and have a wonderful Christmas. Wishing you a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!
