The Power of the Parent - Free Online Workshop Organised by ASCERT for EA HOPE School Parents

We are delighted to offer parents and guardians at your school the opportunity to attend “The Power of the Parent” – a FREE programme designed to support and inform families about substance use.

Delivered online via Zoom, this 1.5-hour workshop will cover:

• The different drug categories and their effects

• Adolescent brain development and why teens take risks

• Risk and protective factors for substance use

• Practical strategies parents can use to reduce risk and harm

Workshops are available on the following dates from 6.00pm – 7.30pm (parents only need to attend one session, as all cover the same content):
